A private bilingual kindergarten \u201cM-Studio\u201d was born from \u201cKindermusik\u201d early childhood education program. The letter M stands for music, and the studio stands for a cozy home environment with friendly learning and growth conditions for a child. Here, children grow and learn with music and movement. There is a lot of educational research and the positive effects of music on child development, and their results are impressive. It has been observed that early, positive, age-appropriate musical experience can help strengthen children\u2019s learning, language and literacy (vocabulary, comprehension, listening, expression), social and emotional development, mathematical, and even planning and leadership skills. Musical activities help develop very important personality traits: self-confidence, curiosity, cooperation, self-regulation, and attentive listening. These skills lay a solid foundation for a growing person\u2019s academic and social success in the future.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\n\nEarly English learning\n<\/h2>\n\n\t

In our kindergarten, children learn English most naturally, through immersion. Two teachers work with children in a group all the time, each one speaks a separate language \u200b\u200b\u2013 Lithuanian or English. Research shows that the easiest way for a child to learn a second language is from a person who speaks it, through natural communication, active activities, observing facial expressions and body language. The earlier learning begins, ideally at the time when native language skills are being formed, the faster second language skills are formed. In bilingual education, the harmonious and sustainable growth of various children's needs is of particular importance, therefore, our teachers apply the principles of universal design in teaching. When teaching children, we always take into account their individual growth rate, and we are happy with all their achievements. Teachers understand that the most important thing is to enjoy the educational process and teach through play, and the results come with time.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our children experience the joy of art every day. Painting, drawing, sensory exploration, ceramics, dance, theater and improvisation lessons, experiments in the kitchen - all these fun and beneficial activities for a child's growth are part of our educational program. Activities are led by experienced and creative educators in English and Lithuanian.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

In our kindergarten, education is based on units that change every two weeks. The themes reflect a diversity of nature, seasons, world phenomena, professions, our country's holidays and significant events, culture and science. We learn in an integrated way \u2013 we count, measure, speak, listen, explore \u2013 in order to understand how and why the world works. The youngest children learn best with experiential education methods and tools that encourage them to perceive and feel the world through hearing, sight, touch, and smell. The STEAM Kids program for children from 3 years old allows them to continue such important exploration of the real world, learn how complex phenomena work, and solve real problems: design and build houses and bridges, construct sewage, electricity, and drainage systems, and wind turbines, understand how the Internet works and how to behave safely on it.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\n\nEmotions with Kimochis\n<\/h2>\n\n\t

We grow emotions with Kimochis. \u201cKimochi\u201d in Japanese means \u201cfeeling\u201d. The philosophy of Kimochis states that every child can learn to be respectful, responsible, resilient, compassionate, kind and courageous. It is a simple and effective educational program where fun, engaging activities help children gain self-confidence, understand their feelings and learn to deal with social-emotional situations. Social-emotional education classes are organized in every age group.<\/p>\n

Kimochis are dolls with different personalities: moody Cloud, shy Caterpillar, domineering Cat, constantly anxious Lovey Dove, and mischievous Huggtopus.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
